This incident caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
